DESCRIPTION:\n~ ABOUT Me ~\n\nI am originally from Malaysia and spent most 
 of my adult life in England. In 2013\, I came to Auckland with a two-year 
 travel plan\, intending to return to London after that… and I’m still 
 here.\n\nMy tango journey began  in 2009\, an ordinary person with a 9-to-
 5 job and no dance background walked into a tango class in London. Since t
 hen\, the love and passion for tango have stayed with me.\n\nAfter moving 
 to Auckland\, I began travelling to Buenos Aires every year to continue my
  tango journey\, learning from some of the most respected and inspiring te
 achers there. I also immersed myself in the culture\, engaging in conversa
 tions with the great milongueros and milonga-hopping (social dancing) most
  nights until the early hours of the morning — sometimes until 6am. Hone
 stly\, I have never seen the morning of Buenos Aires.\n\nMy passion is to 
 introduce the new generation to this captivating and beautiful dance and t
 o help grow the tango community. I began teaching tango in 2016 at Aucklan
 d University of Technology and now teach at Pasión Por Tango studio (¡Ta
 ngo Otra Vez!). In addition to teaching\, I organise milongas\, DJ\, give 
 private lessons\, guest teach at events such as Latin Fiesta NZ\, and perf
 orm at various functions.\n\nFor me\, tango is a sensual dance that comes 
 from the heart and complements the music — less is more.\n\n~ ABOUT the 
 Classes ~\n\nI teach authentic tango as it is danced in the milongas of Bu
 enos Aires and around the world.\n\nMy classes are engaging\, fun and info
 rmal\, with a focus on technique\, musicality\, and developing the partner
 ship. The classes cover the fundamentals\, giving you the confidence to da
 nce socially with anyone at the milonga.\n\nTango is more than just a danc
 e form\, and you will discover its depth throughout your journey with me.\
 n\nWhat is Milonga? The term “milonga” has three meanings: (1) A style
  of tango\; (2) A tango music genre\; (3) A social event or venue for tang
 o dancing. Here\, we are referring to (3).\n\n
