DESCRIPTION:\n~ ABOUT Me ~\n\nI am originally from Malaysia and spent most 
 of my adult life in England. In 2013\, I came to Auckland with a two-year 
 travel plan\, intending to return to London after that… and I’m still 
 here.\n\nMy tango journey began in 2009\, an ordinary person with a 9-to-5
  job and no dance background walked into a tango class in London. Since th
 en\, the love and passion for tango have stayed with me.\n\nAfter moving t
 o Auckland\, I began travelling to Buenos Aires every year to continue my 
 tango journey\, learning from some of the most respected and inspiring tea
 chers there. I also immersed myself in the culture\, engaging in conversat
 ions with the great milongueros and milonga-hopping (social dancing) most 
 nights until the early hours of the morning — sometimes until 6am. Hones
 tly\, I have never seen the morning of Buenos Aires.\n\nMy passion is to i
 ntroduce the new generation to this captivating and beautiful dance and to
  help grow the tango community. I began teaching tango in 2016 at Auckland
  University of Technology and now teach at Pasión Por Tango studio (¡Tan
 go Otra Vez!). In addition to teaching\, I organise milongas\, DJ\, give p
 rivate lessons\, guest teach at events such as Latin Fiesta NZ\, and perfo
 rm at various functions.\n\nFor me\, tango is a sensual dance that comes f
 rom the heart and complements the music — less is more.\n\n~ ABOUT the C
 lasses ~\n\nI teach authentic tango as it is danced in the milongas of Bue
 nos Aires and around the world.\n\nMy classes are engaging\, fun and infor
 mal\, with a focus on technique\, musicality\, and developing the partners
 hip. The classes cover the fundamentals\, giving you the confidence to dan
 ce socially with anyone at the milonga.\n\nTango is more than just a dance
  form\, and you will discover its depth throughout your journey with me.\n
 \nWhat is Milonga? The term “milonga” has three meanings: (1) A style 
 of tango\; (2) A tango music genre\; (3) A social event or venue for tango
  dancing. Here\, we are referring to (3).\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
